If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service. These terms of service apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our escape room services.

2. Description of Service

Hidden Door Escape provides immersive escape room experiences with detailed storylines and challenging puzzles. Our services include themed escape rooms, team building activities, and corporate event hosting. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without notice.

Our escape room experiences are designed for entertainment purposes and may include physical activity, problem-solving challenges, and interactive elements that require participant cooperation and communication.

3. Age Requirements and Restrictions

Participants must be at least 10 years old to participate in our escape room experiences. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult guardian. We reserve the right to refuse service to individuals who appear intoxicated, under the influence of substances, or who may pose a safety risk to themselves or others.

Pregnant women should consult with their healthcare provider before participating in our activities, as some experiences may involve physical movement, loud sounds, or startling effects.

4. Booking and Payment Terms

All bookings must be made in advance through our website, phone, or email. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash payments. Group discounts and corporate packages are available upon request.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Special promotional rates may be limited in time and availability. Gift certificates are available and valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled experience time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time will result in a 50% refund. No-shows without prior notification will not be eligible for any refund.

In case of emergency situations or circumstances beyond our control, we will work with customers to reschedule their experience or provide appropriate refunds. Weather-related cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Safety and Conduct Guidelines

All participants must follow safety instructions provided by our staff. Aggressive behavior, vandalism, or disruptive conduct will result in immediate removal from the premises without refund. Participants agree to treat all props, equipment, and facilities with respect.

Hidden Door Escape reserves the right to monitor activities within escape rooms through security cameras for safety and security purposes. Personal belongings should be secured in provided lockers, and we are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.

7. Liability and Risk Assumption

Participants acknowledge that escape room activities involve inherent risks including but not limited to physical exertion, interaction with props and equipment, and movement in dimly lit environments. By participating, you assume all risks associated with these activities.

Hidden Door Escape, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained during participation in our activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part.

8. Photography and Media Release

By participating in our experiences, you grant Hidden Door Escape permission to use photographs, videos, or other media captured during your visit for promotional, marketing, or social media purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform our staff before your experience begins.

Participants are welcome to take photos and videos for personal use, but commercial use of any content created on our premises requires written permission from management.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

All content, including but not limited to game concepts, storylines, puzzles, props, audio-visual elements, and branding materials, are the exclusive property of Hidden Door Escape and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our proprietary content without explicit written permission. This includes sharing puzzle solutions or game mechanics that could spoil the experience for future participants.

11. Modifications to Terms

Hidden Door Escape reserves the right to modify these terms of service at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for updates.

Continued use of our services after modifications have been posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the modified terms, you must discontinue use of our services.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms of service are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
